Race Related Incident Report
Keeping with Bell Hook's 'Love Ethic' philosophy and ensuring full Black existence and thrive, we have provided a humanistic approach for submitting a racial related incident reports. The purpose is to allow centralized community based monitoring/tracking, raise awareness to BLK experiences in Platteville, provide support/resources/guidance, and allow space to work with diverse Black voices in the community to heal, repair, or eliminate incident harm. Information gathered helps to shape a more welcoming, affirming, equitable community for BLK residents. Remember, there's no need to over persuade our network for support. There's no need to take on the burden alone. Your feelings/perspective are valid. Remember, the review and support team is made up of volunteer BLKPlattCom network members with wide ranging lived and learned experiences. All of which is elevated as true knowledge keepers. Response time (*3-5 days) will vary on availability, details provided in submission, etc. The network will respond to all submissions, but support will vary. The network will also direct to other resources. We will center the needs and desire of person(s) submitting. You may submit and remain anonymous if you wish.
